I was asked to make wedding signs for a friend. Making them on a budget was of importance like it is for most couples these days. Most people don’t think about looking at Craigslist or Freecycle for free materials. People are becoming more recycle minded and would love to give you materials they don’t need. Luckily I had old planting pots, and scrap wood. I found the old frame in an alley, sanded and painted it. I picked up the cement and short fence posts at my local hardware store for under $15. The moss was only $8 and was enough to use for all four pots. I printed out the words for the signs, cut them out and decoupaged them on.  I have included photos of the process I used to make the signs. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to make something pretty.
